Crossing the street.

This little fella was crossing the street the other day, no hurry. It's a Green Iguana, for those of you who are not use to see this on your streets.

We have the Cuban anole that's big and doesn't eat the vegetation. But your iguana is much bigger and it eats your plants. They like to be near water. I have seen them in West Palm Beach basking in the sun next to a drainage canal. If we have a frost they will all die. That doesn't seem likely.

A couple of these guys roam my neighborhood, and I see in the same places every day. Have been trying get just the right shot of them for a montage of photos. Maybe soon. Love this one.

Something you don't see every day. I sure hope he made it across safely.

Certainly not used to seeing these creatures in the UK, are they really common?
