Amazing to see this guy so close, good thing I always carry my camera when walking around the neighborhood.

Tiki Hut

Who doesn't like to have one like this on our own backyard? Next to a grill? Can't wait for a cooler weather, still hot down here.

Another one bites the dust

Anthos, the greek restaurant, didn't even last a year and just closed down. This is on the back side of the Town Center.

Hurricane Wilma

Exactly two years ago, a day like today, Hurricane Wilma crossed South Florida, going trough Weston between 6:00 am and 11:00 am. Hard to forget.

Catch of the Day

This place opened recently, very nice menu and great ambience; prices are ok and service was great the time I was there. As you can imagine, the menu is all about fish.

Rotonda

One of the few around here, this one at the entrance of the Weston Profesional and Medical Campus.

Water fountain

This one next to the parking lot at the Town Center

Ibis

Ibis, the long-legged wading birds, lots of them around, always digging for worms.

More Trick or Treat

Not sure you'll use this kind off stuff for trick or treating but I sure love this display, very in tune with the season.

Ikea - Florida

Not exactly in Weston but right off the city limits. It is Ikea's first store here in Florida, Orlando is next, and you can't imagine the buzz around the opening, schedule for next Wednesday, October 17th.

Palm Trees

These ones are on the back side of the Town Center, a nice corner to sit, rest and relax.

Transformer

Doesn't it look like one of those monsters? And why is that everytime this little fella goes around the range to pickup the balls, everybody aims at it?

Storage

Why is it that we need these places? Why do we have to keep so much junk? In a city as small as ours we have 7 of these places!! Amazing!

The Blues Brothers

The Blues Brothers are what can only be described as a musical, comedic, and cinematic legend. They have become part of our culture, and have spawned countless tribute acts all across the world.

These ones, were once in the Town Center, as part of a Popcorn Store, now gone.

Town Center / East City Grill

This is the East side of the Town Center and you can see the East City Grill on the right side, a great restaurant with outside sitting, great when the weather is not that hot.

Fire Station N. 81

One of the 3 Fire Stations in the city, Fire Station N.81 on Bonaventure Blvd.

Vista Park

This one, not as big as the Regional Park, but also a nice place to play sports.

Crossing the street.

This little fella was crossing the street the other day, no hurry. It's a Green Iguana, for those of you who are not use to see this on your streets.

The Pizza Man

This guys stands outside DelVecchio's Pizzeria in the Town Center, he lost one of his hands, but the pizza still good....lol.

Next door you can see Jamba Juice.
