Teh Everglades, right in our back yard. The Florida Everglades are subtropical marshland located in the southern portion of the U.S. state of Florida, specifically in parts of Monroe, Collier, Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, and Broward counties. Some 50 percent of the original Everglades has been lost to agriculture. Most of the rest is now protected in a national park, national wildlife refuge, and water conservation areas. Water from the Everglades is still used as a water supply for major cities in the area, such as Miami. The Everglades is crossed from west to east by a toll road called "Alligator Alley", now part of Interstate 75.
Savanna is the largest gated community in the City of Weston, making up 20% of the city's population. It is the largest community that borders the natural preserve of the Everglades.

As I said the other day, Weston is a very popular spot for bicyclists, they come from all sort of places during the weekends; sometimes you get to see big groups, 200 and more.
This is my second post on these fellows but it seems that you can find them everywhere around this time of the year...
The bike lanes go all around the city, that makes the city very popular within ciclysts; you see big groups going around specially during weekends.

This was one of my options if the theme December would have end up being benches. This is a great spot to rest and relax.
