Mosaic

This one in one of our shopping plazas. Mosaic is the art of decoration with small pieces of colored glass, stone or other material. It may be a technique of decorative art, an aspect of interior decoration or of cultural and spiritual significance as in a cathedral. Small tiles or fragments of pottery (known as tesserae, diminutive tessellae) or of colored glass or clear glass backed with metal foils are used to create a pattern or picture.

Not exactly in Weston but right off the city limits. It is Ikea's first store here in Florida, Orlando is next, and you can't imagine the buzz around the opening, schedule for next Wednesday, October 17th.

More City Hall

As I said yesterday, offices are open but construction on the outside keeps going. The new building is right at the city entrance on Royal Palm Blvd, between the Police Station and The Midtown Athletic Club.

Our City Hall has a new address, is not completly finish on the outside but they alredy moved. More building pictures tomorrow. Up to now they were in rented offices.
